- 2 Cups.Of sour cream.
- A can.Of sliced black olives, drained.
- ½ Cup.Of chopped green onion.
- ½ Cup.Of chopped fresh tomato.
- 2 Cups.Of shredded Cheddar cheese.
METHOD OF WORK:
Step 1 – Before I started the preparation, I set the oven’s temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare the food (=175 degrees C).
Step 2 – And I cooked the ground beef in a large pan over medium-high heat until it was no longer pink, it took about 10 minutes.
Step 3 – Then, I stirred in 2 cups of Mexican salsa and decrease the heat to low for 20 minutes, just until the liquid has been absorbed. And I added the drained beans and cooked until they were heated thoroughly.
Step 4 – After that, I sprayed a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside, then I spread the crushed tortilla chips in a baking dish, and then ladled the beef mixture over the top of the tortilla chips.
Step 5 – Next, I spread the sour cream over the cooked beef, and then I topped it with olives, green onions, and tomato to garnish, and of course, the Cheddar cheese should be sprinkled on top.
Step 6 – And last but not least, I baked this amazing « Mexican Tortilla Casserole » for 30 minutes, just until the mixture was hot and bubbling.
