To begin, your oven should be preheated at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using nonstick cooking spray, grease a 9×13-inch glass baking dish and put it aside.

2nd Step:

Mix all of the ingredients in a large mixing basin, starting with the granulated sugar.

3rd Step:

Combine the eggs, crushed pineapples, and pineapple juice in a large mixing bowl until everything is thoroughly blended. After that, pour the cake batter onto the baking dish that has been prepared.

4th Step:

Brown sugar and chopped nuts are sprinkled on top of the batter before baking. Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean and dry. Cool the cake on a wire rack before serving.

5th Step:

While the cake is baking, combine the evaporated milk, granulated sugar, and butter in a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. After bringing the liquid to a boil, remove it from the heat and whisk in the vanilla extract until well incorporated. Set the sauce aside to cool.

Using a knife or the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake once it has completed baking, this will let the glaze to seep into the cake.
