INGREDIENTS LIST:
A Pound.Of lean beef.
A small diced onion.
One taco seasoning packet.
Low-sodium beef broth, I used two cups.
One Cup.Of sauce.
One Can.Of green chili, I used a 4-ounces can.
Raw pasta shells; one package of 8-ounces.
2 Cups.Of shredded Mexican cheese.
Cream cheese, 2-ounces cut to pieces.
Sour cream, olives, red onions… and whatever you prefer for serving.
PREPARATION:
Step 1 – First, you should set the Instant Pot to “Saute” mode after lightly spraying it with cooking spray. As soon as the oil is heated, add the meat and onions. While cooking, use a wooden spoon to mince the meat.
Step 2 – Next, add taco seasoning to the cooked meat when it’s done. Stirring and cooking until the meat is fork-tender are the only ways to ensure this. Turn off the instant pot.
Step 3 – To ensure that nothing has gotten stuck to the bottom of the pot, add the beef broth and scrape it well.
Step 4 – After that, add the pasta, canned sauce, and green pepper. Ensure that the pasta is completely submerged in the liquid. Pressure cooking for 4 minutes with the lid on.
Step 5 – Release pressure by releasing valve when the allotted time has elapsed. Remove the cap as soon as the spit falls. Stir in the cheese and cream cheese until well integrated. Remove the top and let the cheese melt for a few minutes.
Step 6 – To finish, serve your « Cheesy Taco Cream Cheese Pasta » garnished with olives, jalapeños, chopped red onion…etc.
This delicious, cheesy taco pasta couldn’t be much simpler to prepare, and it’s especially great for hectic weeknights when you’re pressed for time! In addition, it is convenient since it is simple to switch out ingredients to adjust up the flavor. And to reheat it, throw individual portions in the microwave for 30 seconds or until they are warm, stirring halfway through.
