HOW TO MAKE INDIAN FRYBREAD

Indian Fry Bread is a flat dough bread that is fried in oil or deep-fried in oil till golden brown. This straightforward dish calls for just a few ingredients and may be prepared in a variety of ways to suit either a sweet or a savory palate. Desserts made with honey, jam, powdered sugar, or fruit are popular, but don’t forget about Navajo Tacos, which are filled with your favorite savory toppings and serve as a whole meal in itself.
Frybread may be referred to by a variety of names. I grew up calling them Scones, but I’ve had roommates refer to them as Navajo Taco Bread or Indian Frybread, which are both correct. Fry Bread is a traditional Native American bread that has been passed down from generation to generation. It is produced using basic components such as wheat, water, salt, and a little amount of hot water, and it is delicious.
When I was little, I was fed scones with powdered sugar and honey as a treat, and I really adored them. Without realizing how good this scrumptious Fry Bread might be with savory toppings, I was only aware of the sweet flavor of these scones before I made them.

Of course, when I grew older and was presented with the opportunity to try a Navajo Taco, my eyes were opened to the possibilities!
Just as much as I like eating Indian Fry Bread as a sweet treat, I also enjoy eating it when it is paired with mouth-watering meat marinated in taco sauce and topped with a variety of my favorite toppings. What is your favorite way to eat Indian Frybread? I’d be delighted to hear from you!

INGREDIENTS LIST:

375 grams.Of all-purpose flour, the equal of 3 cups.

2 small spoons.Of baking powder.

1/2 small spoon.Of salt.

Hot water, I used 1½ cups.

Oil, for frying.

METHOD OF WORK:

First Step:

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing basin until thoroughly combined. Stir in the hot water with a wooden spoon. The dough will be sticky when it is finished.

Second Step:

Then, you need to form the dough into a ball and put it in the fridge for 45 minutes.

Third Step:

After that, you can divide the dough into 12 to 16 equal-sized small balls.

Fourth Step:

Press each dough round into a thin, circle approximately 4-5 inches in diameter with your palms and fingers, then with your fingertips into a thin, circle about 4-5 inches in diameter.

Sixth Step:

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium/high heat or in a fast frying pan placed directly over a frying pan until “hot.”

Seventh Step: Add one slice of bread at a time to the heated oil and fry until golden brown on one side, before flipping the bread. Approximately one minute on each side, depending on how hot the oil is heated.

Eight Step: Remove it from the oil and place it on a piece of paper to dry.
