HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING?
Today’s recipe is a moist tender cake with layers of whipped cream and delicious strawberries on top. Strawberry shortcake’s iconic tastes are brought together in a layer of cake. When you combine the flavors of a strawberry shortcake with the look of a gorgeous layer cake, you have something that will please anybody and everyone you serve it to.
If you’ve been around these parts for a while, you’re probably aware that I passionately like baking with strawberries (and, to be honest, I also enjoy drinking them). Strawberry season is in full swing in our home, and we always have strawberries on hand. They are my favorite fruit to use in baking, and they work well in a wide variety of recipes.
For years, I’ve had a Strawberry Shortcake Cake on my “to-bake” list for the summer months. My objective was to create a cake that included all of the tastes of strawberry shortcake and was piled high in a beautiful layer cake to get this look.
Among my primary requirements was that the recipe is quite simple, made completely from scratch, and tastes excellent. Although I fully expected having to test with this recipe many times before getting it just right, this turned out perfectly – and exactly the way I wanted it — on the first attempt!
This cake’s versatility is one of my favorite parts. It’s elegant enough to serve at a dinner party, yet simple enough to serve at a summer barbecue. If you know someone who has a summer birthday, this cake, studded with candles and delivered to your loved ones, would be extremely special. Regardless of how/when you decide to build it, just do it!
A White Cake Mix box.
Water, canola oil, and eggs us requested on the cake mix box.
A stick and a half of softened unsalted butter.
125 grams.Of soft cream cheese.
Four cups.Of powdered sugar.
Third a Cup.Of strawberry jam.
A Cup.Of resh chopped strawberries.
Start with preparing the oven, you need to set the temp. At 175 degrees Celsius and grease the bottom and sides of three 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray and set them aside for later.
Secondly, mix the cake ingredients in a large mixing basin with an electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl halfway through. Pour one cup and a half of the mixture into each of the two pans.
And for baking it, the cooking time is around 18 to 20 minutes, once they are done, you need to let them cool for 10 minutes before transferring them on wire racks, then allow 45 minutes for it to cool fully.
In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese on high speed until smooth. Add the powdered sugar in small increments until the frosting is thick and creamy. Combine strawberry jam and vanilla extract, and mix well to integrate all ingredients together, then the food coloring may be used to tint the ornaments until the appropriate hue is reached.
At this point, a layer of cake, rounded from top to bottom, should be placed on a serving dish. On top, spread 2/3 cup icing, then half a cup of chopped strawberries in a single layer over the garnish, stopping 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) from the cake’s edge.
Place the second cake layer, face down, on top. Spread 2/3 cup (150 mL) icing cream on top and garnish with leftover strawberry slices; the third layer of cake, round face-up, is placed on top. Decorate the cake’s surface and sides with the remainder of the decorating cream.
Lastly, refrigerate your cake for at least an hour before serving, and place the entire strawberry on top of the cake, in the center.
