How To Make Marinated Cucumbers, Onions, and Tomatoes?
The plain, summery tomato and cucumber salad provide a delightful comparison to the heavy flavors of the side dish. Dressings and seasoning are short, which is why you would want to want to consume more, and the cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes have an intense, pleasing crunch.
The taste is much more intense because of the juice and the pulp of the lemon.
It will be delicious as a light lunch option for barbecues or potlucks or side dishes with vegetables, or perhaps better for people who are watching their carb intake during the summer months while having large feasts. Go ahead and make a large batch of this and store it in the refrigerator for later consumption.
It’ll be far gone, we all know that will happen!!!
3 medium Tomatoes.
4 small Cucumbers cut into thin round slices – 4
2 medium Chopped green onions.
TO MAKE THE MARINATE, YOU’LL NEED:
1/4 Cup.Of extra virgin Olive oil.
2 large spoons.Of Lemon juice.
FOR GARNISH, I USED :
A large spoon.Of Oregano.
The first thing I started with, Is preparing the vegetable; I sliced tomatoes into very thin wedges, and I also cut the cucumbers into slices, and I chopped 2 green onions, medium-sized into very small pieces.
After that, In a small bowl, I blended together with one part olive oil, one part lemon juice, salt, and ground black pepper.
Then, I choose a serving dish and I put in the sliced fresh tomato and chopped onion, then I added on top of them the sliced cucumber.
And finally, I poured the lemon dressing over the salad, and for garnish, I used dried oregano before serving.
It’s an easy salad, I make it every day, it’s perfect for lunch, dinner or as a side dish!! And everyone in the house loves it!!! I hope you’ll enjoy it too!!
