
How To Make Grandmother’s Buttermilk Cornbread?
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 small spoon baking soda
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1/2 small spoon salt
Preparation :
1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a pan.
2: In large skillet melt butter. Remove and add sugar. fast add eggs and beat until well mixed. Blend buttermilk with baking soda and stir to the mixture in pan. Row in cornmeal/flour/ /salt until well blended .
3: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 41 min.
