1 HOUR FRENCH BREAD

 

HOW TO MAKE FRENCH BREAD?

Ingredients:

1½ cup lukewarm water

1 tablespoon of honey

1 teaspoon of Salt

2 packets of instant or fast-rising yeast (1 tbsp)

4 – 5 cups of flour

Instructions :

Step 1:

Combine 2 cups of flour, water, honey, salt, and baking powder. I like using a stand mixer with the dough hook, but this dough can be easily combined in a large bowl. Add more flour to the mixture until the dough is firm and no longer sticky.
Knead dough in the bowl of a stand mixer or on a floured surface for about 5 minutes. Placing the dough in a light greased bowl. Covering & permit stand until doubled, for 21 min. Pierce dough, remove all air bubbles.

Step 2:

Meanwhile, preheated oven 400 ° F.

Step 3:

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and transfer the yeast dough to the foil. Form in the form of bread. Using a very sharp knife, make 2 or 3 diagonal bars on the French bread. Brush the bread with cold water and cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
